This Saturday and Sunday, excitement and emotions filled the Lokomotiv Hall!
Over 450 competitors participated in the Olympia tournament!
Shun Judo Club was represented by 35 young and not so young judokas!
For some, this competition was their first!
For others, it was just another tournament to test their skills.
But everyone, without exception, was brave and united!
Everyone went into battle, supported by their teammates and their parents!
TEAM!

Our youngest participant, Mateo Kandilarov, opened the competition by playing 4 matches and winning each one decisively. Thus, he earned the first gold medal for the team.
Very strong meetings followed for all participants!
Of note are the epic struggles of Zhoro Sotirov , who was not afraid to take the marks of his 96-kilogram opponent and move on!
In one of his matches, Rafa held out until the end of a golden score that lasted longer than the rules required, and his efforts were rewarded!
Maxi Kirov, Emo Alexandrov, Martichka Simeonov, Pavvkata Pavlov, Boris Partalozov, Marto Hristov, Boris Andonov, the Brusarski brothers, Maxi Milev, Georgi Georgiev, Alex Kandilarov, Kiko Dokov - everyone fought hard and showed progress!
The team was in great shape, thanks to the support of the children training in the Bistritsa gym with coach Todor Petrov ! An unintentional mistake by Borislav Markov cost him the gold medal.
Theo Petrov held out until the end of the match despite the pain in his arm, which later turned out to be broken! This did not prevent him from enjoying the competition!

Here is the ranking:
